::Apocalyptica:: “Clouds” by M. Sailstorfer.
Αυτό το installation ονομάζεται CLOUDS αλλά το σχόλιο που είδα κάτω από μια δημοσίευσή του είχε μεγάλο δίκιο. “Too bad apocalyptica is not a word”. Μια σύνθεση που σαν κύριο συστατικό της έχει απειλητικά μαύρα σύννεφα/μπαλόνια να ονομάζεται “αποκάλυψη”. Γιατί;
Γιατί συνήθως από μαυρίλες μέσα έρχονται οι αλήθειες (αποκαλύπτονται). Όχι πως η χαρά δεν έχει το ρόλο της αλλά πως να το κάνεις, είναι λίγο πιο έντονο όταν έρχεσαι προ δυσάρεστης εκπλήξεως. Είναι όμως δυσάρεστη; Αν οι αλήθειες που έχεις στο μυαλό σου τελικά δεν είναι και πολύ αλήθειες, ε τότε καλύτερα να πάρεις απόφαση πως ένα αποκαλυπτικό σκηνικό δεν είναι απαραίτητα κακό. Μαύρο, δυσάρεστο, ξαφνικό ή απογοητευτικό, ό,τι σε βγάζει από μια ψεύτικη πραγματικότητα είναι καλό. Προς θεού, όχι τον κόσμο που οραματίζεται ο καθένας και φτιάχνει με το δικό του μυαλό, τα όνειρα δεν είναι ψευτιές. Απλώς να μπαίνουμε στη διαδικασία να αποδεχόμαστε και να αγκαλιάζουμε και τις άσχημες/δυσάρεστες εμπειρίες όπως κάνουμε και με τις χαρούμενες, αν γίνεται, γιατί μόνο έτσι θα απελευθερωθούμε τελικά από αυτές και θα προχωρήσουμε. Προφανώς και το λέω για να το ακούσω κι εγώ. EMBRACE THE APOCALYPSIS.
This installation is named CLOUDS but a comment just below the title caught my eye: “Too bad apocalyptica is not a word”. An installation of threatening black clouds/balloons on the ceiling is called “apocalyptic”, why?
I believe it’s because though dark times the truth is revealed (the meaning of “apocalypsis” actually). Joy maintains its role in the process of revelation, nonetheless it seems that truth is somehow intensified when it comes to bad times. Is it bad though? If what is on your mind about reality is not after all what is really happening at the time, may be we should reconsider the negative meaning of apocalyptic times… It may be dark, sudden or dissapointing but in the end what puts you in a position outside illusion and untruthfullness is good by definition. By illusion I do not of course mean our dreams; no, dreams is what keeps our mind determined and makes us happy and creative. It’s just that we have to embrace the dark moments the same way we would embrace the happy ones, if possible, because this is the only way to be liberated and detouched from them. I am not tranfering any knowledge, I just say things so that I can also hear myself! 🙂 EMBRACE THE APOCALYPSIS
